At Agroventures we offer two curriculum based education programes for teachers to build into their Rotorua itinerary. We provide a fun and interactive learning outside of the classroom experience.

Year 12 Tourism - Covering unit standards 24728 and 24730
Agroventures focus with the Year 12 Tourism is based around work roles, adventure tourism within New Zealand has developed strongly over the last 15 years and a career in adventure tourism is no longer considered just a work lifestlye choice. A 15 minute talk covers the historical background to the development of Agroventures, up to date statistics about who our visitors are, how many rides are undertaken on an annual basis and first hand experience from staff about work roles and industry expectations. Year 13 Geography - Covering unit standard 90702
The 15 minute geography talk covers the historical development of Agroventures and where we fit into Rotorua and New Zealand as a destination, including the importance of bringing new activities to the destination. We talk about our current situation within the political environment with a focus on government regulations and issues that are effecting the adventure tourism industry at the moment. With a modern outdoor entertainment area, complete with surround sound, BBQ facilities and seating, you can book this area for your groups dining requirements.
